Tinted
Tinted glass is produced by adding metal oxides to the clear float mix, which provides the glass its colour, improves solar performance and helps with glare control.

Supergreen
Provides a soft green appearance, with improved performance over standard green tinted glass. It is manufactured to provide very high daylight transmission with solar control and reduced UV and glare.

Mirastar
6mm Mirastar - Interior designers are making ever more frequent use of mirrors, As this product is able to be toughened, Mirastar is the mirror of choice where safety is a requirement. A downloadable PDF Brochure is available.

Starphire
Due to the iron content of clear glass it naturally gives a green tinge. Starphire is a white clear as much of the iron content is removed during manufacture making starphire ideal for coloured splashbacks, decorative and furniture applications. A downloadable PDF brochure is available.

Matelux & Clear vision Matelux
Matelux is clear float glass, one side in which has a high quality, acid etched finish. Clear Vision Matelux has the same acid etch finish , but on a low iron glass, giving the glass a white, brighter look.A downloadable PDF brochure is available.

Sunergy
Sunergy is an energy efficient glass offering excellent performance in control of both solar heat gain and thermal insulation.
Sunergy is a hard coat pyrolitic glass. This technology is the reaction between a high temperature and a gas that creates the continuous application of perfectly uniform layers of metal oxides onto the glass.

Glass performance chart definitions
VLT
Visible Light Transmission
Percentage of visible light passing through the glass. The higher the percentage the more daylight.

VLR
Visible Light Reflection
Percentage of visible light reflected toward the exterior

U Value
Is a measure of the rate of heat gain or loss though glazing due to environmental differences between outdoor and indoor air.

SHGC
Solar Heat Gain Coefficient
The proportion of total solar radiation that is transferred through the glass at normal incidence. It comprises the direct solar transmission (5) and the part of the solar absorption dissipated inwards by radiation and convection. The lower the number the better the solar performance.

Shading Coefficient
The ratio of solar heat gain through the glass relative to that through 3mm clear glass. The lower the number the better the performance.

Recommended Cleaning Routine for coated glass products

These glass products have a very thin coating on the interior surface of the glass.

Extra care is required when cleaning:

Any scratching will penetrate the surface of the coating and cannot be repaired.
Any excessive mechanical treatment might remove the coating.
Avoid all contact with metal objects.
Avoid all chemicals that would attack the surface and damage it irreparably.

DO NOT USE:

Any products containing hydrofluoric acid or fluorine derivatives.
Highly acidic and alkaline products as they are abrasive.

RECOMMENDED:

A mixture of one part vinegar with ten parts water.
Windex Surface and glass cleaner. ( Clear liquid available at supermarkets ) Produced by SC Johnson & Son Pty Ltd.
