Our action plan & commitment to you.

Highland Glass has developed and submitted an action plan in line with the requirements of NSW Health and the NSW Government. We are registered as COVID SAFE and have trained our staff on working safely, hygiene, social distancing and proper use of PPE. Our facilities have been redesigned and spaced appropriately to ensure maximum social distancing wherever and whenever possible as well as easy to understand signage and markers to indicate maximum occupancy, standing spaces, appropriate distances and further information about relevant hygiene requirements or what to do in various situations.

At present Highland Glass is not accepting visitors unless prearranged and pre-authorized. We kindly ask you to refrain from visiting our premises unless absolutely necessary. If you are required to attend, we have ample surgical masks, hand sanitizer disinfectant and wipes, and you must ensure you have not been in a COVID-19 hot spot for the previous 2 weeks and we will need you to fill out our electronic attendance form recording your visitation.

Our delivery drivers are trained on proper social distancing and will carry surgical masks, hand sanitizer, disinfectant and wipes. We will be performing contactless deliveries only and ask you to maintain social distancing when unloading your delivery.

We cannot accept cash payments for the time being and ask that all payments be made electronically.

If you are making a delivery to Highland Glass, we have arranged for proper sanitation of the arriving goods and will clean throughoughly prior to accepting. We ask that you either remain inside your vehicle while our team unloads or ensure you maintain social distancing, wear a mask and avoid touching equipment on premises. If you have to use any of our equipment, please throughoughly wash your hands, ensure your mask is fitted correctly and you follow procedure as directed by Highland Glass staff.

How can you help?

We ask that any person or business who has interactions with us to please assist us in keeping the wider community safe. There are a number of very easy hygiene habits people and businesses can adopt that make a big difference in preventing the spread of viral infections, they include but are not limited to:

  1. Wearing a surgical mask in public or while in the work place.
  2. Regularly washing your hands with alcohol based hand sanitizer.
  3. Avoiding touching your face.
  4. Keeping 1.5m away from other people wherever possible.
  5. Sneezing or coughing into your elbow and immediately washing your hands & arms afterwards.
  6. Wiping down common touch points or areas routinely & regularly throughout the day.
